Dr. Eric Wish, a research psychologist, recently retired as director of the Center for Substance Abuse Research at the University of Maryland after 32 years. His research focused on drug abuse epidemiology. His other passion has been the stock market. After placing fifth in the Barron’s Stock Challenge, professor division, in 2005, Eric began teaching courses on the stock market and technical analysis at the university in 2006. He is passionate about teaching young people financial literacy and about sharing what he wishes someone had taught him at that age. 

Dr. Wish has spoken widely about investing and trading at national conferences and workshops, including those run by TraderLion, AAII, Worden TC2000, IBD meetups, and Mark Minervini’s birthday gala. He teaches rules-based, systematic approaches to investing and trading.
