Vertical Petroleum Industries (VPI) was founded in 2016. It was created by Dan Sauer, an oil developer in Ardmore, Oklahoma. VPI is in the business of purchasing oil and gas leases, hiring licensed operators and geologists, and performing all legal work, marketing, and capital fundraising required to drill oil and gas wells for tax advantages and profit. The New Thunderbird Development begins VPI’s 35th drilling project. Given today’s oil environment, the team believes that wells on the “Thunderbird lease” will generate tremendous potential returns, with some never-seen-before tax advantages making it possibly the most profitable project in VPI's history.
