Vertical Petroleum Industries (VPI) was founded in 2016. It was created by Dan Sauer, an oil developer in Ardmore, Oklahoma. VPI is in the business of purchasing oil and gas leases, hiring licensed operators and geologists, and performing all legal work, marketing, and capital fundraising required to drill oil & gas wells for tax advantages and profit. The 101 Ranch Development begins VPI’s 18th project and 48th well. Given today’s oil environment, Mr. Sauer believes with a potential 250% first-year return, it will be the most profitable project in VPI history.
